Cannot find Show Grid in the Options dialog box under View due to removed.
Cause:
This option is no longer available in Access 7.0. The functionality can be found in the 'Cells Effects' dialog box.
Solution:
To show or hide gridlines in Access 7.0, use the 'Cells...' command under the 'Format' menu, and select the 'Horizontal' and/or 'Vertical' check box(es) in the 'Gridlines Shown' group.
To show or hide gridlines, do the following in Datasheet view:
1) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Cells...'. (The Cells Effects dialog box appears.)

2) To show gridlines, do one of the following in the 'Gridlines Shown' group:
a) Select both the 'Horizontal' and 'Vertical' check boxes.
b) Select only the 'Horizontal' check box.
c) Select only the 'Vertical' check box.
3) To hide gridlines, do one of the following in the 'Gridlines Shown' group:
a) Clear both the 'Horizontal' and 'Vertical' check boxes.
b) Clear only the 'Horizontal' check box.
c) Clear only the 'Vertical' check box.
4) Click 'OK'.
